Vijay Kumar Goel Chairman

Vijay was the promoter of the undivided company and was on the Board since 1960. He has been the President of the Indian Sugar Mills Association and the Indian Sugar Export Corporation. With over 65 years of experience in the sugar industry, Vijay has spearheaded several technological innovations in the industry. His ethos of social responsibility has always motivated the Company and continues to inspire our CSR endeavors.

Ashwani Kumar Gupta Vice Chairman

Ashwani is a chartered accountant with over 40 years of experience in finance, treasury management and capital markets. He has been associated with the Company for over 40 years. Ashwani is a Government nominee on the Boards of Joint Sector Companies and the RBI nominee on the Board of various Banks.

Gautam Goel Managing Director

Gautam Goel is the Managing Director of Dhampur Bio Organics Limited (DBO) and was a promoter of the undivided company. Prior to the demerger he was the Managing Director of Dhampur Sugar Mills Ltd. from 1994 to 2021. Gautam has been involved in business for over 30 years and has been directly responsible for various pioneering initiatives and achievements of the Dhampur Group. His initiatives resulted in Dhampur Group becoming one of the largest biomass based, modern and efficient, renewable energy producers in the country. Gautam is currently serving his second stint as an office bearer in Indian Sugar and Bio-energy Manufacturers Association (ISMA) as Vice President, and has served as the President of ISMA, and the Chairman of Indian Sugar Exim Corporation (ISEC) in 2012.

As a keen sportsman, he has played competitive squash while representing Delhi in the National Inter State Squash Championships and is now also an ardent golfer.

Sandeep KumarWhole-time Director

Sandeep is the COO and the whole-time Director. He joined the engineering team of the Company in 1980 and has over 40 years of experience in operations, projects, and administration.

Bindu Vashist Goel Non-Executive Director

Bindu is a promoter of the Company. She is a qualified lawyer and has spearheaded the Company’s CSR endeavors in education and supports our efforts to achieve diversity in the workplace. Bindu is part of the Company’s team committed to contributing towards environmental initiatives and waste reduction.

Ruchika Mehra Kothari Independent Director

Ruchika has over 30 years of experience in the woolen textile industry . She has domain knowledge in purchase and import of wool, conversion and marketing and exports of finished yarn . The brand of finished woolen products launched by Ruchika has a wide domestic and international market.

Vishal Saluja Independent Director

Vishal has over 20 years of experience as a fund manager. He founded and successfully managed 2 healthcare focused hedge funds in the USA. Vishal worked for 5 years with McKinsey & Company as a strategy consultant on growth and operational efficiency initiatives with C-suite executives.

Samir Thukral Independent Director

Samir has been involved since 1982 in commodity trading with a focus on sugar. He has worked with leading international commodity trading companies and has also represented them in India. Samir has domain expertise in Sugar trading which includes logistics and the international sugar futures market.

Kishor Shah Independent Director

Kishor is a Chartered Accountant with domain expertise in the sugarcane processing industry. He was a Director and CFO of a leading sugar company in India from 1994 to 2015 . Kishor has over 30 years of experience in corporate finance, cost management and strategic planning.
